The Best VST Plugin Deals of February 2024

With a new month comes fun things like new goals, new beats, new contracts… But best of all, there are new mother-effin' plugin deals!! That’s right, every month I list the most amazing deals (and freebies) on this blog, so you can easily stay updated and inspired. Peep all the deals below, and while we’re at it, why don’t you visit my Loop Kits section of this site and get yourself a couple of free loops to take your beats to the next level?

Electronic Music Bundle | Universal Audio

If you want to branch out from using the VST tools that come with your DAW, I can give you advice: Don’t buy more plugins than what you need. You probably don’t need every form of mix plugin out there, you just need to get a few analog emulations and really learn them inside and out!

For analog-style VSTs, I’d recommend Universal Audio, a company that’s makes some of the best tools out there. They’re currently offering their Electronic Music Bundle, an amazing value.

Included is Opal, an innovative synth, the Minimoog, a Studer tape machine, a suite of 1176 compressors/limiters, as well as a Lexicon digital reverb. Get this offer… Like, now.

The Electronic Music Bundle by UAD is only 69$ (It’s worth 1,400$. That’s right, it’s not a typo.)

Sale ends Feb. 18

Analog Lab Pro | Arturia

If you know Arturia, you’re probably aware that the V Collection is a treasure trove of vintage VST synths, giving you the possibility to carry your favorite machines with you virtually, everywhere you go. It also gives you the possibility to skip the maintenance fees and soldering headaches, which is always a plus.

If you want an easy entry point to the world of virtual synthesis, please give Analog Lab Pro a go.

This plugin combines thousands of presets created across the whole range of classic synths available in the French company's range, as well as their modern original instrument, Pigments. It might seem like a cop-out to say that one of the best synthesizer plugins out there is "all the classic synths rolled into one'', but I feel confident doing so because Analog Lab truly feels like an instrument in its own right, especially for a guy who relies on presets, like me.

Arturia plugins are all on sale right now (including their range of vintage-style effects.) Analog Lab Pro is currently 99$ (Regular price: 200$)

Sale ends on Feb. 20

Bloom Vocal Aether | Excite Audio

If you’ve ever used Arcade’s Hooked module, Bloom Vocal Aether might give you some deja vu. Just like the Output juggernaut, the Excite Audio instrument also uses vocal phrases and samples to help you create interesting sampled-vocals and chops for your beats.

This one just came out, so I’ll have to dig deeper before I can give my full review. What I can say after playing with it for a bit, though, Is that Bloom Vocal Aether shines by the quality of its musical ideas, and the inspiring character of its effects.

I expected no less from Excite Audio, one of the most *ahem* exciting new VST developers out there. (I would say “no pun intended”, but who would believe me?)

Vocal Bloom Aether is currently 39$ (Regular price: 60$)

Scaler 2 | Plugin Boutique

If you’re tired of relying on the same old chords for every beat, you should give Scaler 2 a spin. This powerful music theory workstation helps you detect the key of your melody, and then it suggests chords and all sorts of melodic ideas to help you experiment with all sorts of scales and whatnot.

For those of us who didn’t go to music school, Scaler 2 is a life-saver. This VST always helps me find crazy MIDI progressions to put behind my melodies and my synth leads. I also love the sound engine that contains pretty solid instruments.

Get this, it will inspire you. I promise.
